When I was in young love and heartbroken, poetry and God was where I turned. I consumed it, I wrote it, it still resonates today. When I was a new mother, jubilant but exhausted, I found solace in prose. When I lost my father young, I was gifted books that seemed to see me better than I could. I write to be the same to others: words for when there are none.
In raising children, many things are difficult to explain or teach. But I have found that just the right whimsical approach to an important lesson or a difficult feeling resonates so well with my own children, they ask for more: everything from losing people we love, to learning and growing, to getting to bed on time or pure silliness. That is why I write children's books.
Our shared but individual experiences are meant to help us help each other. I am no expert on anything at all. But what I learn about life, raising kids, healing, health, and more, I want to share to make others' journey easier or more streamlined to their destination. Nonfiction books in the works include finding God and our divinity in daily life, wellness when going nonstop, and more.
